What Do the JDM Symbols Really Mean?
You see them everywhere in the JDM scene. They’re on the cars, clothes, and all around the internet. A lot of people use them, but it does, however, seem like there are few people who actually know the original meaning of the symbols. So, what is JDM sticker?
The word JDM stands for “Japanese Domestic Market,” meaning cars and parts made specifically for the Japanese market.
JDM stickers can refer to stickers showing” Made in Japan”, or stickers made for application on the Japanese market, or they could just refer to stickers with Japanese style.
JDM Sticker Examples
Shoshin Untensha Hyoshiki (“Beginner Driver Sign”)
This yellow-and-green emblem lets other drivers known to be cautious in the presence of a marked vehicle. The mark must be displayed for one year after a student receives their license but can be kept longer if the driver so desires.
